What is laser engraving?

Laser engraving is a non-contact process of marking or etching away at materials with a laser beam. We have an Epilog Helix CO2 laser engraver in-house that has a maximum engraving size of 18"x24" along with a rotary tool to engrave 360 degrees on a glass or mug.

What kind of items can be laser engraved?

Cutting boards, wine glasses, leather wallets, cork coasters, slate charcutier boards, rolling pins, wooden spoons, hammer handles, insulated tumblers, ornaments, rubber stamps, wine bottles, and so much more.

To be even more specific, these material types can be engraved: acrylic, iodinized aluminum, ceramic, cloth, coated materials, ceramic, cork, Corian, fabric, fiberglass, glass, leather, marble, matte board, painted metals, paper, plastic, powder-coated materials, pressboard, rubber, tile, wood, wood veneer

Stainless Steel Marking

Our CO2 laser system does not "engrave" stainless steel or any other bare metal surface but by coating it with a special coating, we are able to add a permanent marking to the metal. The laser wavelengths react with the CerMark coating and leaves a permanent, black marking in the shape of the desired logo or design.
